RENCI is pleased to announce the second beta release of the new E-iRODS binary distribution. This release marks a continued progress towards our first full release which will be provided with available support contracts, documentation, and backed by extensive unit, functional, and regression testing running continuously on RENCI’s open infrastructure.

This 3.0b2 release is provided as four different packages across three different platforms:
DEB packages have been tested on Ubuntu and Debian.
DMG packages have been tested on MacOSX.
RedHatCompatible RPM packages have been tested on RHEL, CentOS, and Fedora.
SuSE RPM packages have been tested on SuSE.
We are planning to add Solaris packages to our distribution soon.
