iRODS 4.1.6 is released


The iRODS Consortium and RENCI are pleased to announce iRODS 4.1.6.

This is a bugfix release which addresses resource server upgrades, development and runtime library organization, and other small issues.

This release consists of 33 commits from 7 contributors and closed 24 issues.

The latest files are available at ftp://ftp.renci.org/pub/irods/releases/4.1.6/.

Additionally, an engineering preview for POWER8LE is made possible by IBM, an iRODS Consortium Member. A final release of 4.1.6 for POWER8LE will be included in our upcoming package repository.
