iRODS 4.2.2 is released

The iRODS Consortium and RENCI are pleased to announce iRODS 4.2.2.

This is largely a bugfix release which addresses a few important use cases for the community and a stronger foundation for new plugins.

This release includes support for the iRODS Audit (AMQP) rule engine plugin. The Audit rule engine plugin requires upgrading to 4.2.2.

This release consists of 77 commits from 7 contributors and closed 39 issues marked for 4.2.2 and an additional 56 closed issues included in the recent 4.1.11 release.

The latest binary packages for CentOS6, CentOS7, Ubuntu12, Ubuntu14, and Ubuntu16 are available at https://packages.irods.org/.
